Dayara Bugyal in the local language means "high altitude meadow". The road to Dayara Bugyal branches off near Bhatwari a place on Uttarkashi - Gangotri road about 28 km from Uttarkashi. Vehicles can go up to the village of Raithal from where one has to trek a distance of about 8 km to reach Dayara and other route is via village Barsu, 10 km from Bhatwari, from where one has to trek about 6 km to Dayara Bugyal.

Situated at an elevation of about 3048 m, this vast meadow is second to none in natural beauty. During winter it provides excellent ski slopes over an area of 28 sq km. The panoramic view of the Himalayas from here is breathtaking. Presently accommodation is available at Raithal and some villager's huts may also be used by professional skiers.

Day 01: Delhi - Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. On arrival check in the hotel, rest of the day free at leisure. And overnight in the Hotel.

Day 02: Rishikesh - Uttarkashi - Raithal
Morning after breakfast drive to Raithal. By Uttarkashi On arrivals check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the Tourist Banglow.

Day 03: Raithal - Dayara Trek
Morning after breakfast Start Trek Up to Dayara. 07 kms Trek from Raithal with packed Lunch. And on arrival evening tea with cookies. Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 04-05: Skiing at Dayara

Day 06: Dayara - Raithal - Uttarkashi
Morning after breakfast down trek to Raithal with packed lunch. On arrival at Raithal drive to Uttarkashi. Evening tea with snacks. Night stay at Hotel.

Day 07: Uttarkashi - Haridwar
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar, on arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening visit Aarti Darshan at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Haridwar - Delhi
Departure Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi, on arrival transfer to the airport, time to catch flight for onward destination.
