Rishikesh is a small town in the northern state of Uttarakhand in India. Scenically located where the Ganges River comes down from the Himalayas, Rishikesh catapulted to Western fame when the Beatles dropped by for a visit to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's ashram (now closed), and the town is still known as the World Capital of Yoga.

Rishikesh is also the Gateway to the Himalayas. The Char Dham Yatra (Four Shrines Sacred Journey) ideally begins from Rishikesh.

Day 01: DELHI - HARIDWAR MORNING TRAIN 4 HRS.
HARIDWAR - DELHI EVENING TRAIN 4 HRS
Early morning board Shatabdi Express* train for Haridwar Departure: 0655 HRS. Breakfast on Board. Arrival: 1125 HRS. Arrive Haridwar. Met upon arrival and proceed to Rishikesh. We visit temple and ashrams in Laxman Jhula & Ram Jhula area. And then Lunch.

After lunch we drive back to Haridwar one can explore the temples of Haridwar & Har Ki Pauri Ghats or take a rope way to Chandi Devi temple to enjoy the rope way and view of Haridwar. Explore the area and transfer to Railway station to Board train for Delhi. Departure: 18:10 Hrs. Dinner on Board. Arrive New Delhi 20:30 hrs.
